As a Warehouse Technician you will play a pivotal role in the seamless operation of our growing distribution  function. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and Service Manager to ensure all orders are correctly processed from start to finish as well as playing an important role n the ongoing management of stock levels in the warehouse.

Operating various warehouse equipment and service checking products will be part of your daily tasks. You'll also be responsible for adhering to safety protocols and reporting any hazards or incidents. The role may involve working in a fast-paced environment.

Package

  • £25,500 - £26,000 per annum.
  • Monday- Friday 
  • Location: Liverpool
  • 22 days off plus 8 days bank holidays .

Warehouse Operative Responsibilities:

  • Strap displays and pack as appropriate.
  • Pick and pack parts orders.
  • Label outbound displays with addresses.
  • Quality and service checks on equipment.
  • Load displays on to vehicles.
  • Use of software to monitor and process upcoming orders.
  • Keep track of inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and report any discrepancies.
  • Monthly stock take on displays, accessories and parts.
  • Keep the warehouse clean and tidy.
  • Run local errands to purchase or collect goods .
  • Make stock modifications and inventory adjustments on software.
  • Track parts orders and update clients, engineers, etc.
  • Book in TNT/ DHL collections.
  • Follow up on the deliveries and ensure parts or received.
  • Occasional Installations on sites (May include hotel night over.)

Skills and Qualities for Warehouse Operative role.

Physical Fitness:

  • May need to lift and move heavy items, requiring physical strength and stamina.

Attention to Detail:

  • Accuracy is crucial when picking, packing, and managing inventory to prevent errors and discrepancies.

Organizational Skills:

  • Efficiently organize products in the warehouse to optimize space and facilitate easy retrieval.

Teamwork:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth warehouse operations. Effective communication is key.

Time Management:

  • Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines for shipping and receiving.

Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and the ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
